The Three Silver Bullet Windows
Know the three setup windows and apply them in New York local time without forcing the trade to close inside the hour.
Liquidity Lab notes
Build the framework.
The three windows are London Open 03:00-04:00, New York AM 10:00-11:00, and New York PM 14:00-15:00.
All times are New York local time. Traders outside New York must account for daylight-saving changes when converting to their local clock.
The setup and entry opportunity are identified during the relevant 60-minute window. A valid trade does not need to close before that window ends.
Time limits the search area. Price still has to provide a coherent draw, directional delivery, and execution model.
Key rules
Anchor every window to America/New_York time.
Look for the opportunity during the window, not an exit deadline.
Recheck clock conversions when daylight-saving schedules diverge between regions.
Common mistakes
Using a fixed local-time conversion all year.
Closing mechanically at the end of the setup hour.
Assuming presence inside the window makes any FVG valid.
Liquidity Lab practice interpretation
Knowledge check
Must a Silver Bullet trade close before its 60-minute window ends?
Reveal answer
No. The setup and entry are identified in the window; trade management may continue afterward.
